NaNo triumph... sorta

Began today at 38,223 (or something like).

Finished at 50,299.

There's more story to tell, and tell it I will, but I made it. It was HARD!!! It was also painful and depressing and only moderately exhilarating.

I'm pleased, I think. So why do I want to cry?
