cookies!

It's that time of year- the fourth (I think!) annual Barnes and Noble (store 2597) cookie exchange. Tomorrow, those of us participating will bring in multiple batches of our promised cookies and the frenzy of exchanging will begin. I've been ordered to make my chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, and so I have. Nine dozen of 'em. Made them all today. I had the ingredients, and could have made them while we were snowed in this weekend, but... I did not.

I made the dough at around 5:30 pm (whereon it had to chill for at least an hour), went shopping at the bookstore with my sweetie at 7, and got back home about 9:30. There was much baking this night.

On the plus side, my house smells glorious. And I only ate two cookies, which may very well be my personal best (in restraint).
