Apr. 23rd, 2011 12:43 pmI'm sure I've mentioned that I have stupid psoriasis, and the thing that clears it up the quickest is a combination of sun and salt water. Any kind of water is good, really, though salt is the best.
We decided to get a pool. Above ground (our only option with our property being what it is), not too large. My sweetie has long been pushing for a hot tub, but agreed that a pool would be just fine. Last weekend, we went the pool/spa showroom. Upon walking in, I turned to Don and said, "A hot tub would be perfectly spiffing, wot?" He was puzzled but delighted by my abrupt change of heart. Honestly, I can't even tell you why I was so opposed to it for so long only to find I wanted nothing more. I do love the idea that we can use it year round.
So. Just had a consult with our contractor (my brother in law) regarding an extension on the deck. Need to call the electricians. After that, we can get things under way. Groovy times are ahead!
